Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 cans sliced peaches (in syrup) Use ripe peaches for the best flavor, but canned peaches work well too.
  • 1 box yellow cake mix This is the base for the cake topping.
  • 1 cup unsalted butter (melted) Ensure the butter is evenly drizzled to avoid dry spots.
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon Optional but adds extra flavor.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Pour the sliced peaches, along with their syrup, into a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  3. Spread the dry cake mix evenly over the peaches.
  4. Drizzle the melted butter over the cake mix, ensuring it covers it as much as possible.
  5. Sprinkle cinnamon on top if using.
  6. Bake for about 40-45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.

Notes

Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream for an extra treat. Dust with powdered sugar or add fresh mint leaves for a lovely presentation.
