  • 1 cup crushed graham crackers Ensure they are finely ground.
  • 1/2 cup melted butter Use unsalted butter for best flavor.
For the filling
  • 8 oz cream cheese Make sure it's well-chilled.
  • 1 pkg chocolate pudding mix Use instant pudding for quick setting.
  • 8 oz whipped topping Thawed, can use homemade whipped cream.
For topping (optional)
  • 1 cup whipped cream Dollop for serving.
  • 1/4 cup chocolate shavings For decoration.

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, mix the crushed graham crackers with melted butter until combined.
  2. Press the mixture into a pie dish to form the crust.
  3. In another bowl, blend together the cream cheese, chocolate pudding, and whipped topping until smooth.
  4. Pour the chocolate mixture into the prepared crust.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours or until set.
Serving
  1. Once set, top the pie with additional whipped cream and chocolate shavings if desired.
  2. Slice and serve chilled.

Notes

Chill the pie overnight for enhanced flavor. Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. Consider using sugar-free ingredients for a lower sugar version.
