  • 1 cup coconut flour Make sure it is fine and sifted.
  • 1/2 cup dark cocoa powder Quality cocoa powder recommended for better flavor.
  • 1 cup powdered erythritol Sweetener of choice; adjust to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 4 large eggs Best at room temperature.
  • 1/2 cup almond milk Unsweetened, can be substituted with other milk alternatives.
  • 1/2 cup melted butter

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a cake pan.
  2. In a bowl, combine all dry ingredients and mix well.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the wet ingredients until smooth.
  4. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring until combined.
  5. Let the batter rest for 5 minutes for the coconut flour to absorb moisture.
Baking
  1. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  3. Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
