Ingredients

Crust Ingredients
  • 1 can (8 oz) crescent roll dough
Filling Ingredients
  • 1 cup cooked crab meat can use canned or fresh
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons green onions chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: Fresh parsley for garnish

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the crab meat, softened cream cheese, cheddar cheese, chopped green onions, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined and creamy.
  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles along the perforated lines.
  4. Place a generous spoonful of the crab mixture in the wider end of each triangle, being careful not to overfill.
  5. Starting from the wide end, roll up the triangle carefully to enclose the filling, ensuring the tips are tucked in.
Baking
  1. Arrange the filled crescent rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving space between each.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  3. Remove them from the oven and allow them to cool for a few minutes. Optionally, sprinkle some fresh parsley on top before serving.

Notes

These bites can be made ahead of time. Prepare the filling and fill the crescents a day in advance and store them in the refrigerator until baking. Serve warm for best results.
