  • 4 pieces corn tortillas Cut into strips
  • 1 cup salsa Any type of salsa (red or green)
  • 1 medium avocado Diced
  • 1 cup cheese Crumbled (choose your favorite type)
Optional Toppings
  • 1/2 cup diced onions For extra flavor
  • 1/4 cup cilantro Chopped, for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Gather your ingredients: you will need corn tortillas, your choice of salsa, avocado, cheese, and any other toppings you desire.
  2. Cut the corn tortillas into strips and lightly fry them in olive oil or bake them until they turn golden brown and crispy.
Cooking
  1. In a large skillet, add the crispy tortilla strips and pour your salsa over them, stirring gently to coat the tortillas well.
  2. Heat everything together for a few minutes until the tortillas soak up some of the sauce, but remain crispy.
  3. Once cooked, remove from heat and transfer to a serving dish.
  4. Top with diced avocado, crumbled cheese, and any other toppings you like.
