Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla, then beat on medium speed for 2 minutes.
  4. Stir in boiling water until the batter is smooth.
  5. Pour the batter into greased cake pans.
Baking
  1. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  2. Let the cakes cool before frosting.

Notes

Measure accurately for the best texture. Don’t skip the boiling water as it contributes to moisture. Cool cakes completely before frosting to prevent melting.
