Preparation

  5. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, alternating with the buttermilk.
  6. Beat in the eggs one at a time, ensuring everything is well combined.
Baking
  1. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for about 45 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  2. Allow the cake to cool before serving.
