Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Allow it to sit until bubbly, about 5 minutes.
  2. Add flour and salt to the yeast mixture. Mix until a soft dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until it is smooth.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rise for about an hour, or until it doubles in size.
Baking
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Once the dough has risen, spread it onto a greased baking sheet, dimpling it with your fingers.
  3. Drizzle olive oil over the top and sprinkle with herbs, salt, or your favorite toppings.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Let it cool slightly before serving.
