Berry Swirl Ingredients
  • 1 cup mixed berries (fresh or frozen) Can include strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, etc.
  • 1 tablespoon extra sugar for the berry swirl Adjust based on berry sweetness.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth and creamy.
  2. Prepare the berry swirl by blending the mixed berries and a tablespoon of sugar in a separate bowl.
  3. Once the yogurt mixture is ready, gently fold in half of the berry mixture to create a swirl effect.
Churning
  1. Pour the combined mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions until creamy.
Freezing
  1. Transfer the frozen yogurt to an airtight container and layer it with the remaining berry mixture for added flavor.
  2. Freeze for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

Ensure your ice cream maker is chilled before starting. Don't skip the freezing time after churning. Experiment with flavors by adding cocoa powder for chocolate swirl or crushed cookies for a fun twist.
