Preparation
- Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat and add minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant.
- Add chicken pieces to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through.
- Once the chicken is cooked, add the broccoli florets and sauté for a few minutes until tender.
Combining
- Add the cooked bowtie pasta to the skillet.
- Pour in the lemon juice and zest, and sprinkle with fresh herbs. Toss everything together until well combined.
- Serve warm, and if desired, add freshly grated parmesan cheese on top.
Notes
Serve with a light salad or fresh bread to soak up the sauce. Cooking the pasta al dente will help it hold its shape. Don't skip the lemon zest for added aroma.
