- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, mash the bananas with a fork until smooth.
- Add the softened butter to the mashed bananas and mix well.
- Stir in the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until fully combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Make sure your bananas are ripe for enhanced flavor. Avoid overmixing the batter to keep the cake tender. Optionally, add nuts or chocolate chips for extra flavor.
