  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your choice) Use freshly shredded for better melt.
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 2 large eggs

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking dish by greasing it.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Stir in the shredded cheese until evenly mixed.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the milk, melted butter, and eggs. Mix well.
  5. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture and stir until just combined.
  6. Transfer the batter to the prepared baking dish and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Use freshly shredded cheese instead of pre-packaged for a better melt. Don't overmix the batter; just combine until moistened. Customize flavors with herbs or spices.
