Ingredients
  

For the blueberry mixture
  • 2 cups fresh blueberries Fresh blueberries are recommended for best taste.
  • 0.5 cups sugar Divided, use half for the blueberries.
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
For the cobbler batter
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 cups sugar The remaining sugar for the batter.
  • 1 cup milk
  • 0.5 cups butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the blueberries with 1/2 cup of sugar and lemon juice, then set aside.
  3. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and the remaining sugar.
  4. Pour in the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
  5. Pour this batter into a greased baking dish.
  6. Spoon the blueberry mixture evenly over the batter. Do not stir.
  7. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.

Notes

Enjoy warm with vanilla ice cream or cold for breakfast. Use fresh blueberries for best results. Don’t overmix to avoid tough cobbler. Add spices for extra flavor.
