- Wash and cut the broccoli into small florets.
- Dice the apples into bite-sized pieces.
- In a large bowl, combine the broccoli, apple pieces, and chopped red onion.
- In a separate bowl, mix the mayonnaise, lemon juice, and sugar for the dressing.
- Pour the dressing over the broccoli mixture and toss until well coated.
- Add sunflower seeds or nuts on top for crunch.
- Chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
Cut broccoli into small, uniform pieces for even mixing. Can prepare a day in advance, adding nuts just before serving. Add dried cranberries or raisins for extra sweetness.
