Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, sweetener, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted butter and egg until well combined.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
Baking
  1. Scoop tablespoon-sized amounts of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the tops are golden but the centers remain soft.
  3. Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool for 5 minutes on the baking sheet before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For a chewier cookie, consider adding a tablespoon of unsweetened cocoa powder, or mix in spices like cinnamon or nutmeg for added flavor. Store cookies in an airtight container to keep them fresh.
