  • 1 cup almond butter Use fresh almond butter for best flavor.
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda Sprinkle into the dough.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the almond butter and sugar.
  3. Crack in the egg and mix until well combined.
  4. Sprinkle in the baking soda and stir until smooth.
Baking
  1. Scoop out small amounts of dough and roll them into balls.
  2. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Gently flatten each ball with the back of a fork.
  4. Bake for about 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  5. Let them cool slightly before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Serve warm with tea or coffee, or package as a gift. Store in an airtight container for up to a week, or freeze for longer storage.
