Ingredients

- Gnocchi (store-bought or homemade)
- 2 ripe tomatoes, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh basil, for garnish
- Parmesan cheese, for topping
Instructions
- Boil water in a large pot and cook the gnocchi until they float (2-3 minutes).
- Drain the gnocchi and set aside.
- In a separate pan, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
- Add chopped tomatoes and salt, cooking for about 10 minutes until the sauce forms.
- Gently fold in the cooked gnocchi, allowing them to soak up the sauce.
- Stir in fresh basil and let simmer for a couple of minutes before serving.
Notes
For added richness, top the dish with freshly grated Parmesan cheese and garnish with fresh herbs.
