A delightful twist on the classic Italian dish, seafood lasagna combines creamy sauces, layers of pasta, and a mix of seafood for a rich and satisfying meal.


Ingredients

  • Fresh lasagna noodles
  • 1/2 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 pound scallops
  • 1/2 pound crab meat
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 3 cups creamy white sauce
  • Fresh parsley or basil, for flavor and garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Spread a thin layer of white sauce at the bottom of a large baking dish.
  3. Layer sheets of lasagna noodles over the sauce.
  4. In a bowl, combine the seafood, ricotta, and some mozzarella.
  5. Add herbs for extra flavor.
  6. Spread a portion of the seafood mixture over the noodles, followed by more sauce.
  7. Repeat the layering process until all ingredients are used, ending with noodles topped with sauce and mozzarella.
  8. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  9. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
  10. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Use fresh seafood for the best flavor. Let the lasagna rest for at least 10 minutes after baking for easier serving.
