  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat pumpkin puree, sugar, and eggs until smooth.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring gently.
  5. For the filling, mix cream cheese with sugar and vanilla until smooth.
  6. In a greased loaf pan, spread half of the pumpkin batter, followed by the cream cheese mixture, then top with remaining pumpkin batter.
  7. Bake for about 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before slicing.
