A quick and simple version of classic lasagna that’s perfect for busy weeknights, featuring layers of noodles, hearty meat, and melty cheese.

- 12 lasagna noodles
- 1 lb ground beef or turkey
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, brown the ground meat over medium heat, then drain excess fat.
- Add marinara sauce to the skillet and simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Spread a layer of meat sauce in the bottom of a baking dish.
- Place uncooked lasagna noodles on top of the sauce, followed by a layer of ricotta cheese and then mozzarella cheese.
- Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a top layer of meat sauce and plenty of mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
Consider using no-boil noodles to save time. Let the lasagna rest before cutting for easier serving.
