  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Monterey Jack)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 6 slices of bacon (optional)
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wash the jalapeños and slice them in half lengthwise. Remove the seeds and membranes.
  3. In a bowl, combine cream cheese, shredded cheese, garlic powder, and chopped crispy bacon if using.
  4. Fill each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture.
  5. Place stuffed jalapeños on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top if desired.
  6. Bake for about 20 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and jalapeños are tender.
  7. Let them cool slightly before serving.
