Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup walnuts
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 2 eggs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup condensed milk
  • Oil for frying
  • 1/4 cup sugar (for caramelizing walnuts)
  • 1/4 cup water (for caramelizing walnuts)

Instructions

  1. In a pan, cook walnuts with sugar and water until caramelized; set aside.
  2. Rinse and pat the shrimp dry.
  3. In one bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, salt, and pepper.
  4. In another bowl, beat the eggs.
  5. Dip shrimp into the egg mixture, then coat with the flour mixture.
  6. Heat oil in a frying pan and fry shrimp until golden brown and crispy; drain on paper towels.
  7. In a bowl, mix honey, mayonnaise, and condensed milk until creamy.
  8. Toss the crispy shrimp in the sauce and garnish with caramelized walnuts.
