Delicious and healthy Greek turkey meatballs served with a refreshing tzatziki sauce.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh oregano, chopped
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup shredded cucumber
- 1 clove garlic, minced (for tzatziki)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp chopped dill
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, mix the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, parsley, oregano, salt, and pepper until just combined.
- Form the mixture into small meatballs, about the size of a golf ball.
- Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through and golden brown.
- While the meatballs are baking, prepare the tzatziki sauce by mixing Greek yogurt, shredded cucumber, minced garlic, lemon juice, dill, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Serve the meatballs hot with tzatziki sauce for dipping.
Notes
Don’t overmix the meatball mixture and use fresh herbs for the best flavor. Keep an eye on the baking time to avoid overcooking.
