Garlic Parmesan Crockpot Chicken and Potatoes

Description

A delightful dish that combines rich garlic and parmesan flavors with easy preparation in a crockpot.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken breasts
  • 1.5 lbs baby potatoes, halved
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. Wash and halve the baby potatoes, then add them on top of the chicken.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine minced garlic, chicken broth, parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour the sauce over the chicken and potatoes.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  6. 30 minutes before it’s done, sprinkle additional parmesan cheese on top.
  7. Stir gently before serving.

Notes

For a thicker sauce, mix cornstarch with water and add during the last 30 minutes of cooking. Consider garnishing with fresh herbs.
