Ingredients

Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add chopped onions and sauté until they become soft and translucent.
- Stir in minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add vegetable broth and chickpeas; bring to a gentle boil.
- Reduce heat and let it simmer for about 20 minutes.
- Use an immersion blender to puree the soup until smooth, or transfer to a blender in batches.
