- 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, minced
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/2 cup peanuts
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
Instructions
- Gather all ingredients and cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes.
- Place chicken in the crockpot and pour the sauce mixture over it, stirring to coat.
- Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 4 to 6 hours until the chicken is tender.
- Once done, sprinkle peanuts and chopped green onions on top before serving.
Notes
For thicker sauce, mix cornstarch with water and stir in during the last 30 minutes of cooking. Adjust spice level to taste.
