Description

Comforting and satisfying Crockpot French Dip Sandwiches with tender beef and savory broth, perfect for family dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 chuck roast
  • 3 cups beef broth
  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Hoagie rolls, for serving

Instructions

  1. Place the chuck roast in your Crockpot.
  2. In a bowl, mix the beef broth, onion soup mix, and minced garlic together.
  3. Pour the mixture over the roast and season with pepper.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.
  5. Once cooked, remove the roast and shred it with two forks.
  6. Serve the warm beef on toasted hoagie rolls and strain some broth for dipping.

Notes

For added flavor, consider seasoning the beef before cooking. Toasting hoagie rolls adds a nice crunch. Have plenty of broth ready for dipping.
