Ingredients
Scale
- 1 chuck roast
- 3 cups beef broth
- 1 packet onion soup mix
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- Pepper, to taste
- Hoagie rolls, for serving
Instructions
- Place the chuck roast in your Crockpot.
- In a bowl, mix the beef broth, onion soup mix, and minced garlic together.
- Pour the mixture over the roast and season with pepper.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.
- Once cooked, remove the roast and shred it with two forks.

Notes
For added flavor, consider seasoning the beef before cooking. Toasting hoagie rolls adds a nice crunch. Have plenty of broth ready for dipping.
