Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chopped steaks (or cubed beef)
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet on medium-high heat and add a splash of oil.
  2. Add chopped steaks and cook until well-browned on all sides, then remove and set aside.
  3. Add chopped onions and minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 3-4 minutes until translucent.
  4. Sprinkle flour into the skillet to make a roux and stir.
  5. Slowly pour in beef broth while stirring, let it simmer and thicken for 5-7 minutes.
  6. Return the cooked steaks to the skillet, cover with gravy, and simmer for another 10 minutes.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley or chives if desired.
