A flavorful marinade that enhances beef with a delightful mix of citrus and spices.
Ingredients

- 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
- 1/2 cup fresh orange juice
- 4 cloves minced garlic
- 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 2 teaspoons dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine freshly squeezed lime and orange juice.
- Add minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and soy sauce to the bowl.
- Sprinkle in cumin and oregano, seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Stir until well blended.
- Place flank steak or skirt steak in a zip-top bag or shallow dish and cover with the marinade.
- Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least one hour, preferably overnight.
- Remove from the refrigerator, and let sit at room temperature for 20-30 minutes before cooking.
- Preheat the grill and cook steak for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness.
- Let the steak rest for 10 minutes before slicing against the grain into thin strips.
- Serve in warm tortillas with toppings or alongside rice and beans.
Notes
For added flavor, use fresh ingredients and consider adjusting acidity. Marinade longer for a more intense flavor.
