Ingredients
- Cooked chicken (shredded or diced)
- Rice (white or brown)
- Bang bang sauce
- Fresh vegetables (lettuce, bell peppers)
- Green onions (for topping)
- Sesame seeds (for topping)
Instructions
- Cook the rice according to package instructions.
- Prepare the chicken: heat leftover chicken in a pan or microwave or cook raw chicken seasoned with salt and pepper in a skillet over medium heat.
- Mix the cooked chicken with bang bang sauce until coated and heated through.
- In a bowl, layer the cooked rice as the base.
- Add the chicken mixture on top of the rice.
- Top with fresh vegetables and additional toppings as desired.
- Serve immediately with extra sauce on the side.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container; fresh vegetables are best stored separately. Can be frozen for up to three months.
