- 2–3 medium-sized apples, peeled and diced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2–3 tablespoons sugar
- Egg roll wrappers
- Oil for frying (optional)
- Melted butter for brushing (if baking)
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat and add diced apples, cinnamon, and sugar. Cook until soft, about 5-7 minutes. Let cool.
- Place an egg roll wrapper on a flat surface, add a tablespoon of apple filling, moisten edges with water, fold, and roll tightly.
- Fry in hot oil for 2-3 minutes until golden brown or bake at 400°F (200°C) for 12-15 minutes, brushing with melted butter.
Notes
Great served with vanilla ice cream, caramel sauce, or a dusting of powdered sugar. Can be customized with nuts or raisins in the filling.
